The Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai Community in Timor-Leste Celebrate International Women's Day

On 8 March 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Dili participated in the International Women's Day Bazar, which was jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste and the diplomatic corps at the Foreign Ministry.  A booth was set up by the Embassy in collaboration with the Thai community in Timor-Leste to promote Thailand's culinary.  The event was presided by H.E. Mr. José Ramos-Horta, President of Timor-Leste.

On this occasion, the Embassy and the Thai community proudly showcased Thailand’s famous culinary and culture, comprising Pad Thai along with its cooking demonstration, Thai tea, steamed banana pudding, and “Serng-Isan” dance performed by Miss Mariaantonia Surasena Monteiro, which impressed and were well-received by the participants.
