On 9 March 2020, H.E. Mr. Ekapol Poolpipat, Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste conducted a site visit to the renovation project of the Red Cross of Timor-Leste’s building, which is funded by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The Ambassador-designate also had a meeting with Mrs. Madalena F. Melo H. Costa Soares, the President of the Cruz Vermelha de Timor-Leste (CVTL) to discuss the continued cooperation on humanitarian basis between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.
