On 16 March 2020, H.E. Mr. Ekapol Poopipat, Ambassador-Designate of Kingdom of Thailand to Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste visited Guido Valadares National Hospital (HNGV) to discuss with Dr. Aniceto Cardoso Barreto, Executive Director and representatives from the Laboratory and Blood Bank Department and the National Blood Bank Unit of HNGV regarding the cooperation between the Thai Red Cross Society and the Blood Bank of Timor-Leste. The meeting also discussed the precautionary measures on the spread of COVID-19 in Timor-Leste.
