Purpose of visit: Tourism

Validity and period of stay:

Required documents for Tourist visa single entry:

• Original passport with at least 6-month validity and 2 blank visa pages
• Completed visa application form
• A copy of passport
• A passport size photo (3x4 cm. and taken within the past 6 months)
• A copy of reservation/confirmation of return ticket to Thailand.
• A copy of reservation/confirmation of accommodation for the whole stay in Thailand. If staying with a friend/relative, please submit his/her invitation letter and a copy of his/her identity card/passport.
• Evidence of adequate finance: Bank Statement showing at least 750 USD for individual applicant or 1,500 USD for group/family applicants

Additional documents required for multiple entry visa:

• Residence pass in Timor-Leste or long-term visa (not being a temporary visitor)
• Evidence of adequate finance: recent bank statement (last 6 months) showing at least 7,000 USD for individual applicant or 14,000 USD for group/family applicants.
• A copy of tickets/documents showing the need for multiple entries into Thailand
• Proof of employment in Timor-Leste, e.g. letter from employer mentioning the applicant’s name, position and dates of visit to Thailand. If you own a business, your company registration documents are required.
• Letter from educational institutions mentioning the applicant’s name, course of study and dates of visit to Thailand (for students only)

Remarks:

For applicant from listed country[1], please provide 3 sets of required documents

Visa fees:

- 40 USD for single entry visa

- 200 USD for multiple entry visa

- 70 USD for special tourist visa

Consular officers reserve the right to request additional documents, or an interview with the applicant, as deemed necessary, without prior notice.

The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right to refuse visa to applicant with insufficient documents or if the reasons given are not fully supported. The visa fee is non-refundable.
