On 16 April 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Dili and the Thai community in Timor-Leste organized a merit-making and alms-giving ceremony to mark the auspicious occasion of Songkran Festival 2026. On this occasion, the Embassy had the honor of inviting Phra Kittichai Suvaco as the presiding monk of the ceremony, bestowing blessings upon the Thai community in Timor-Leste. Participants also gathered for lunch together in a warm and friendly atmosphere, reflecting the unity of the Thai community in Timor-Leste.
