On 17 December 2024, Mr. Thanachai Wachiraworakam, Minister-Counsellor, Royal Thai Embassy in Dili, handed over 200 school bags for children from vulnerable families in Dili to Mrs. Diana Gonçalves, Technical Superior for Arts and Culture of the Presidency of the Republic. This donation was carried out to support the “Natal ba Povo” (Christmas for people) initiative of H.E. José Ramos-Horta, President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. The said contribution was also part of the Royal Thai Embassy’s activities to further strengthen the people-to-people ties which were significant element of the relations between Thailand and Timor-Leste.
