During 20–23 August 2025, H.E. Mr. Atipat Rojanapai¬bulya, Ambassador of Thailand to Timor-Leste, welcomed and facilitated the visit to Timor-Leste of H.E. Mr. Paisan Rupanichkij, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr. Chulvat Narintharangura, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), together with the TICA delegation. The visit aimed to explore opportunities and discuss ways to advance development cooperation between Thailand and Timor-Leste.

 

During the visit, the Deputy Permanent Secretary, the Director-General, and the delegation attended a working lunch hosted by H.E. Ms. Milena Rangel, Vice Minister for ASEAN Affairs, and her accompanying party from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste. They also had a discussion with Mr. David Freedman, Resident Representative of World Bank Group in Timor-Leste, met with TICA scholarship and training alumni, and visited two schools under the Collaborative Projects on Children and Youth Development under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, namely Escola Pré-Primária Acanuno and Escola Básica Filial Acanuno.
