On 4 October 2024, Ms. Funmi Balogun, UN Resident Coordinator to Timor-Leste, paid a visit to H.E. Mr. Atipat Rojanapaibulya, Ambassador of Thailand to Timor-Leste, to exchange views on the draft UN Cooperation framework 2026-2030 for Timor-Leste. Both sides discussed the past and current cooperation between the UN agencies together with development partners and the Timorese government. They also explored ways that Thailand and ASEAN member countries could contribute to the next five-year plan of the UN to provide development support to Timor-Leste.
