On 12 February 2024, H.E. Mr. Atipat Rojanapaibulya, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand to Timor-Leste, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ms. Belinda Mariano Ante, Ambassador of the Philippines, on the occasion of his assumption of duty. Both sides exchanged views on Timor-Leste’s political, economic and social landscape, including opportunities and challenges associated with Timor-Leste’s Roadmap for ASEAN Accession. The two Ambassadors also discussed capacity-building initiatives undertaken by Thailand and the Philippines to support the work of Timor-Leste’s authorities concerned, in accordance with the Roadmap.
