On 8 February 2024, H.E. Mr. Atipat Rojanapaibulya, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand to Timor-Leste, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Wan Hadfi Latif, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam, on the occasion of his assumption of duty. Both sides reflected on Timor-Leste’s political situation, economic development and social challenges – both present and future. They also updated each other on their respective Embassies’ key agendas to drive forward in 2024. On this occasion, the Brunei Ambassador kindly shared useful information and suggestions on the life of the diplomatic community in Timor-Leste as well.
