On 28 January 2025, H.E. Mr. Atipat Rojanapaibulya, Ambassador of Thailand to Timor-Leste, together with Royal Thai Embassy’s officials and staff, took part in a volunteer activity on “The Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua Attaining the Same Age as His Majesty King Buddha Yodfa Chulalok The Great (Rama I) 2025”, by providing school supplies and essential items to Escola Basica Filial 1,2 Ediri, Liquiça Municipality. The donation will benefit 230 students and 7 teachers attending this school. This volunteer activity was part of the Embassy’s continued endeavor to support the school’s garden and lunch programme. Since 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy has provided ongoing support to the school as well as the community to improve water access, build a duck shelter, establish vegetable plots with a drip irrigation system and conduct several workshops to apply Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) in Timor-Leste.
