During 18 - 19 June 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Dili opened the book of condolence for Timorese dignitaries and the general public. Among those who paid tribute and signed were H.E. Mrs. Jesuína Maria Ferreira Gomes, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation; Mr. Virgilio Guterres, Ombudsman; Ms. Henriqueta Maria da Silva, Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic; members of the diplomatic corps; representatives of the local private sector and members of the Thai community in Timor-Leste.
