On 7 July 2025, H.E. Mr. Atipat Rojanapaibulya, Ambassador of Thailand to Timor-Leste, hosted the afternoon tea reception in honour of Mr. Francisco de Carvalho, School Coordinator and Head Teacher of 1.2 Beedan Primary School, the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, who is an awardee of the Princess Maha Chakri Award (PMCA) in 2025, at the Residence of the Thai Ambassador. The participants of this event were the high-level representatives of the Ministry of Education of Timor-Leste together with the officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy.

On this occasion, the Ambassador praised Mr. Francisco, the 6th Timorese awardee of the PMCA which granted every 2 years since 2015, for being selected by the Princess Maha Chakri Award Foundation Committee as one of the recipients of the PMCA this year. He also expressed his appreciation to Mr. Francisco’s dedication to improving efficiency and effectiveness of management and education at 1.2 Beedan Primary School, which contributes to better quality of the school’s teachers and students. This also plays a significant role for human resource development of the future generation of Timor-Leste.
