Launch of Online E-Visa Application Platform and

Termination of Visa Application in Person

          Effective from 8 October 2024, 12.00 hrs. (Timor-Leste time), a foreign national who is currently in Timor-Leste and wishes to apply for a Thai visa must apply and submit his/her application, supporting documents, and pay the application fee online through the new online e-Visa platform at https://www.thaievisa.go.th/. It is no longer required for the applicant to submit his/her passport and original supporting documents in person at the Royal Thai Embassy in Dili.

          After the e-Visa application has been approved, a confirmation email will be sent to the applicant. The applicant is kindly requested to print a copy of the confirmation email to present to the airline at the port of departure and to Thai immigration officials in Thailand.

          The Embassy will continue to accept in-person visa applications until 4 October 2024 at 11.00 hrs. (Timor-Leste time).
