The Royal Thai Embassy in Dili organized the ceremony to celebrate the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2025. H.E. Mr. Atipat Rojanapaibulya, Ambassador of Thailand to Timor-Leste, together with officials of the Embassy and spouses attended the ceremony. On this occasion, the Ambassador read the citation in paying tribute to His Majesty the King and led the participants in the oath-taking ceremony as well as signing the well-wishing book in honor of His Majesty.

 

On this occasion, the Ambassador, along with the embassy’s officials and their spouses, as well as members of the Thai community in Timor-Leste, organized a volunteer activity in commemoration of the Auspicious Occasion by providing nutritious lunch to 120 school children under the “Dapur ba Povu” (Kitchen for the People) Nutrition Program at Kantina Matak, the Presidential Palace. The Embassy and the Thai Community also handed over essential food items and sports equipment to support the program’s efforts in promoting good nutrition and health among Timorese youth. President José Ramos-Horta graciously joined, as the guest of honour, of this volunteer activity and expressed his appreciation for the Thai community’s contribution in marking this auspicious occasion.
