On 29 December 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Dili organized a volunteer activity on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, National Day and Father's Day of Thailand on 5 December 2025 by contributing dry food and essential items to the Office of the President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. The Presidential Office would distribute them to those in need through hospitals and schools in remote areas during this coming Christmas and New Year Eves. The donation was received by Mrs. Jesuina Maria Ferreira Gomes, Chief of Staff, Office of the President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.
