กระทรวงการต่างประเทศได้จัดทำ Street Food Applications สำหรับโทรศัพท์มือถือสมาร์ทโฟน/ Tablet เพื่อส่งเสริมให้อาหารไทยเป็นที่นิยมของชาวต่างชาติมากขึ้น คือ 1) appllication “Street Food Bangkok” เพื่อเผยแพร่เสน่ห์ของอาหารริมทางในกรุงเทพฯ จำนวน 121 ร้าน  ดาวน์โหลดได้ทั้งในระบบ iOS และ ANDROID ทาง Play Store ตั้งแต่เดือนมีนาคม 2558  และ  2) Application “Street Food Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai” เพื่อรวบรวมและเผยแพร่อาหารริมทางในเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 60 ร้าน และในเชียงราย จำนวน 20 ร้าน  ดาวน์โหลดได้ทั้งในระบบ iOS และ ANDROID ตั้งแต่เดือนเมษายน 2559 ทาง Play Store และ QR Code ด้านล่าง

The Bangkok Street Food App includes information on street food from 120 shops and stalls in Bangkok, covering 25 types of dishes that are easily available, delicious, and locally famous, while the Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai Street Food App includes information on street food from 60 shops and stalls in Chiang Mai, and 20 shops and stalls in Chiang Rai.

The app has an accessible design where users can easily access the information through a user-friendly interface, linked with Google map, which will give clear directions and distances from the users’ location to the desired destination. Addresses of shops and stalls are available in Thai for the users’ convenience if they choose to travel via taxis or other modes of public transport. Designed to be downloadable for free by foreign visitors, the information provided by the app is in English. The app is also compatible with iOS and Android phones.
